Saymetz 25 noyabr 1981-ci ildə Florida ştatının Tampa şəhərində anadan olmuşdur. Los-Ancelesə köçməmişdən əvvəl Florida Dövlət Universitetində film təhsili almışdır. Təhsil aldığı müddətdə dayə, ofsiant və dərzi olaraq işləmişdir.[3]
Saymetz 2016-cı ildə film istehsalçısı Şen Kerrat ilə nişanlanmışdır.[4] 2019-cu ildə cütlük ayrılmışdır.[5][6]
